We are currently in the process of a major reconstruction of the firm. Two of our team are over or approaching 70 and the younger ones are only interested in Anaerobic Digester and Rotorcrex work. All our farm machinery except a telehandler has now been sold. We reserve the right to decline other services although it's always nice to see visitors. Because of lots of good feedback about useful info on our website we are leaving open several sections just in case there's anything useful. Above: Reconditioned Rotacrex mill rotors. These rotors have been built up with tough and wear resistant high chrome steel, better than original and then balanced.

Rotacrex hammer facings front side in chromium carbide, these last much longer than original, even the chocky bar ones above and they're balanced.
See above, our latest version of the Rotacrex hammer facings. Notice the two pieces of Chromium Carbide chocky bar we've added. We've done this to reduce the wear on the hinge arms of the hammers, because these hammers are around £2000 each we thought it might be good to make them last a bit longer so we fitted this chocky bar to the hammer facings in order to prevent the feed stock impacting on the leading face of the hammer hinge arms and reduce the tendency for it to pass between the hinge arms and the rotor. Feed stock is very good at finding it's way into any nooks and crannies and causing severe wear. Although our old hammer facings were significantly better and cheaper than the originals, the feed stock was getting between the two pieces of chocky bar and cutting a slot into the hammers, that's why we redesigned them. We've had huge success with these chromium carbide parts and intend to keep making them even better. If we can reduce the wear on these hammers we're hoping, in future, to recon them to be better and significantly cheaper than new ones.
